RICHMOND, Va.—The 2011 Baptist General Association of Virginia Annual—a compilation of statistics and data—is available this year as a download rather than a CD, the BGAV’s communcations office has announced.
The download can be accessed at www.vbmb.org/annual.
“We continue to seek ways to be better stewards of the Cooperative Missions gifts that are entrusted to us to make this information possible,” said Paige Peak, assistant executive director and chief communications officer for the VBMB. “We have seen significant savings since we started reducing our print costs with the mailing of CDs that began in 2007 with the release of the 2006 Annual. Now with increased use of technology by our churches, we believe that downloads are easier for folks to use and there are additional savings for us with few production costs. For those churches with no computer access or limited access, we are always glad to provide print copies, as well as CDs.”
In addition to yearly statistics, the download also has Cooperative Missions ads for use in church bulletins, newsletters and websites; a 2012 BGAV budget booklet, Cooperative Missions poster and Faith In Action brochure that focuses on some of the ministries supported by CM; and BGAV identity brochures such as “On These Truths We Stand,” “BGAV: The Right Choice” and “Truthfully Speaking.”
