RICHMOND, Va.--Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond has met a $500,000 matching grant which will provide $1 million for the school.
By the end of April, BTSR had received $500,000 in contributions, which will be matched by gifts from the Baugh Foundation and five of the seminary’s trustees.
“Together, we did it!” seminary president Ron Crawford said in a press release. “We raised $1 million to help ensure the future of BTSR and our mission: to train women and men for ministry. We are grateful to God and ... our donors for journeying with us in reaching this goal.”
