Youth fill Easter eggs for their church's annual egg hunt.
SUFFOLK, Va. -- The weekend of March 12-14 was a busy one for the youth at Holland Baptist Church in Suffolk, Va., as they prepared for a variety of ministry opportunities between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

The students gathered on Saturday morning to help fill plastic eggs with candy for the church’s egg hunt on Palm Sunday. The group also sewed 22 Bible handbags from table placemats and crafted Bible bookmarks. Paperback copies of the New Testament were placed in the bags and were delivered to a nearby Native American reservation for Easter.

The Suffolk group at a local Christian book store with the Bible handbags they had prepared.
The youth also attended Youth Missions Coming Alive (YMCA) in Smithfield, Va., where they joined other young people in the Blackwater Baptist Association to package 30,000 meals to be sent to Haiti through Stop Hunger Now.
