| ‘Hand-in-Hand’ ministry strengthens impact of Northern Virginia church |

SPRINGFIELD, Va. -- Members of First Baptist Church in Springfield, Va., joined hands on Nov. 14 to accomplish several mission projects. One group wrapped and filled 136 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The shoe boxes will be distributed by Samaritan’s Purse to children around the world.
Eight volunteers traveled to Falls Church, Va., to work at CrossLink International. They opened packages and sorted donated medical supplies such as drapes, gowns, gauze, bandages, pads and gloves. This non-profit Christian ministry sends medical items to medical mission teams, local free clinics and mission hospitals. Hand-in-Hand ministry was evidence that much can be accomplished in a short period of time. These service opportunities provided ministry to people here and abroad.                 Comments (0)
