Tracy and Jay Proffitt have been employed in staff positions at CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center, a facility owned and operated by Woman's Missionary Union of Virginia.

Tracy will serve as the manager of food services and registration, and Jay will fill the position of manager of facilities and recreation. Although both have been working weekends as volunteers to start learning their responsibilities, they officially join the CrossRoads staff in June.

Tracy is a former summer camper and counselor at CrossRoads. Jay has worked at the Peaks Camp, a former Virginia Baptist facility near Peaks of Otter during the summer, assisting with maintenance needs and retreat guests.

The Proffits are college graduates who spent the past two years as teachers in public school systems in the Lynchburg area.
