Michelle Myers, who has been the Virginia Baptist Mission Board's campus-based minister for the Ridge and Valley region since 2002, has resigned to move to North Carolina, where her husband has assumed a full-time pastorate.

Wellford Tiller has been named part-time interim campus minister for the region, which is based in the Baptist campus center at the University of Virginia. He will serve in the position until a full-time replacement is named later this year.

Myers is a former assistant campus minister at UVA. She also has been a campus ministry intern in Kentucky and on the staff of a church there.

She is a graduate of Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and Northern Kentucky University.
