A conference on “Keeping People Over 60 While Reaching People Under 40,” led by Eddie Hammett, will be held May 1 from 6-9 p.m. at Villa Heights Baptist Church in Roanoke.

The church is located at 4080 Challenger Ave., NE (U.S. 460).

Hammett, author and congregational coach for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, has focused on practical strategies for ministry to both younger and older adults.

Church staff, deacons, and other key leaders in churches are invited and encouraged to attend. Cost is $5 per person or $10 for an entire church group (covers cost of program, handouts, break snacks, etc.).

Prepayment may be sent to the Christian Leadership Network, 4845 Cloverdale Rd., Roanoke, VA 24019 or payment may be made on the night of the workshop. Checks should be made payable to “Christian Leadership Network.”

For questions or more information, phone the Network at (540) 777-3014 or toll-free at (866) 223-9344.
