The courageous churches team of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board has announced the line-up for “21-C: Courageous Churches for a New Millennium,” a conference to be hosted at St. Paul's Baptist Church in Richmond on Jan. 27-29, 2005.

Keynote speakers for this year's vision-casting event include:

• Dave Ferguson, pastor of a multi-site congregation in Illinois and one of the 50 fastest-growing churches in America;

• Bob Roberts, Texas pastor and founder of GlocalNet, a leading church starting network;

• Miles McPherson, pastor of The Rock in San Diego, an electrifying speaker and author on reaching and discipling students;

• Nancy Ortberg, California-based consultant who until recently led the “Axis” ministry at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago;

• Lance Watson, pastor of the largest and fastest-growing Virginia Baptist church;

• Charles Arn, California-based and internationally known author and consultant.

This year's conference also will include over 30 skill sessions that offer practical help for church leaders who wish to lead their congregations to become community-transforming forces. There will also be a number of pre-conference experiences offering intensive training, as well as several panels with lead speakers on cutting-edge issues of leadership, evangelism and church growth.

Electronic registration is currently available and encouraged, as there are discounts for early and mass registration. In addition, participants in this year's conference also will pre-register for skill session slots, which will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information, visit www.21-c.org or contact Debbie Cobb at the courageous churches team at 1-800-255-2428, ext. 6235.
