Augusta Association taps Murphy for DOM |

Murphy Terry has been named director of missions for the Augusta Baptist Association, a fellowship of about 21 congregations in the cities of Harrisonburg, Staunton and Waynesboro and the counties of Augusta and Rockingham.
Terry had been director of missions for the Goshen Baptist Association since 1992. He also was a missionary with the SBC's International Mission Board from 1971-1992, serving in Laos, Thailand and Sri Lanka and at the International Baptist Theological Seminary, then in Rüschlikon, Switzerland.
He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Terry and his wife, Linda, have three grown sons.
