The congregation of Zoar Baptist Church decided several years ago to utilize the opportunity provided by the Baptist General Association of Virginia to craft its own giving plan. This was accepted after discussion within the church of the various giving tracks and the congregation decided to craft its own giving plan.

The Zoar congregation wanted to assist the BGAV with the loss of funds being withheld by several churches who had previously supported the BGAV. Zoar is very supportive of the BGAV and the Cooperative Program and the Zoar congregation decided to give approximately 80 percent of their CP funds to the BGAV.

The balance of the CP funds is given through WM2 and WM3, with a special designation to the BGAV partnership missions program.

Zoar gives opportunity to any member to designate funds in accordance with their conscience.
