Death Retired Virginia Baptist pastor Robert E. Lee “Bob” Trail died Oct. 26 at the age of 66. He had served as minister of education from 1978-1988 at Liberty Church, Hampton. He also served churches in Norfolk, Richmond and on the Eastern Shore. He was a trustee of Oak Hill Academy, Mouth of Wilson, for more than 18 years. He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. Trail; a daughter, Mary K. Clark; a son, Jason Trail; three grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters. A private burial was held Oct. 28.

Church News

Azalea Church, Norfolk, will sponsor an evening of gospel music by The Coastalmen from Florida on Sat., Nov. 19 at 7:00 p.m. For additional information call 757-639-8088.

Korean megachurch pastor and evangelist Billy Kim will speak at Monument Heights Church, Richmond, on Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. Kim has served as president of the BWA for the last five years. He is director of the Far East Broadcasting Company, a Christian radio network that broadcasts to 150 language groups in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The Far East Broadcasting Company’s Jeju Children’s Choir from South Korea will provide special music.

Westhunt Church, Richmond, will celebrate its 37th anniversary with a noteburning service on Nov. 13.
