Pittsylvania names Hudgins as coordinator

Clifton E. Hudgins has been named associational ministries coordinator for the Pittsylvania Baptist Association.

Hudgins has been a Virginia Baptist Mission Board staff member since 1997, serving most recently as field strategist for the Ridge and Valley region.

He will assume his new position with the association, a fellowship of about 48 congregations in Pittsylvania County and the city of Danville, on Nov 1.

Hudgins is a former director of missions for the Augusta and Natural Bridge Baptist associations.

He has been pastor of churches in Texas and Hawaii and attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
