Leadership Network offers workshopPublished October 18, 2005
What kind of world is it that we really live in? Can my church become a difference-maker in that world? Those and other questions are the subject of a workshop, “Being a Relevant Church,” sponsored by the Southwest Virginia Christian Leadership Network. Facilitated by John Chandler of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board, the workshop will be offered at three locations: • Nov. 14 from 12 noon-2 p.m. at the Lebanon Baptist Association office in Glade Spring. • Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Fairlawn Baptist Church in Fairlawn. • Nov. 15 from 12 noon-2 p.m. at Thaxton Baptist Church in Thaxton. A sandwich bar will be provided free of charge at each location. Persons may preregister by email at info@vachristianleadership.net or by phone at (540) 777-3014. Special to the Herald |
