Staff Changes

Retirement

Ed Griffin has retired as pastor of Crystal Hill Church, Crystal Hill.
Richard Moore,
former executive director of missions for Dover Association, has concluded a supply pastorate at Rappahannock Indian Church, Bowling Green. He will be moving to Charlotte, N.C. in August.

Church News

Clover Bottom Church, Nathalie, will hold revival services July 10-13 with Roger Roller as guest evangelist.
James Square Church,
Lawrenceville, will observe homecoming on July 10. Pastor Jerry Bailey will bring the message at the 11:00 a.m. service. A fellowship luncheon will follow. Revival services will be held July 11-13. Special music will be provided each night.
Scottsville Church,
Scottsville, will celebrate its 165th anniversary with a special worship celebration on July 24 at 11:00 a.m.

Death

William Lawrence McIntosh, minister to senior adults at Second Church, Richmond, died on June 20 in Richmond. He had served as pastor of Chesterfield Church, Moseley, and Leigh Street Church, Richmond. He also had served as associate pastor of Parkview Church (now Patterson Avenue Church) in Richmond. He has been minister to senior adults at Second Church for the past 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Thomas McIntosh; a son, William Alexander McIntosh; a daughter, Anne Lawrence McIntosh; two granddaughters; a great-grandson; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at Second Church on June 26 with burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
