Virginia Baptist Media Library holds conferencePublished June 14, 2005
The Virginia Baptist Media Library Association elected officers and focused on “Your Church Library: An Oasis for Growth” during its spring conference May 13-15 at Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center. New-elected officers for 2005-2006 are Jean McChesney, director; Betty Watson, assistant director; Peggy Randall, associate director; Jean Mitchell, secretary; Bob Mitchell, treasurer; and Nancy King, historian. Guest instructors for the conference were Beth Andrews of Dallas, a consultant with LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, and Kathy Berry, chaplain at the Masonic Home of Virginia in Richmond. The VBMLA’s fall conference is set for Oct. 7-8 at Calvary Baptist Church in Portsmouth. Special to the Herald |
