Construction volunteers sought for GrenadaPublished May 25, 2005
Volunteers are being sought for a Virginia Baptist construction project in Grenada. Two or three volunteers are needed to help build two frame houses on the Caribbean island. The project is at the top of the Grenada Baptist Association’s help list. One house is for a family of four currently living under a tarp. The other is for a single mother of nine children. The trip will cost approximately $1,000 and will last about eight to 10 days. The estimated departure date is late May. Additional information is available from Craig Waddell, partnership missions volunteer coordinator for the Virginia Baptist Mission Board, at craig.waddell@vbmb.org, at (800) 255-2428 or at (804) 915-5000.
