Southside Association seeks volunteers

The Southside Baptist Association is seeking volunteers to help pour the footings and lay the foundation for a developmental home for men in Farmville, according to Jim George, project ministries and disaster relief coordinator for the Virginia Baptist Mission Board.

The home will be operated by the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services.

Volunteers are sought who will work one or two days a week. A site manager and volunteer coordinator will oversee the work.
